Praying for People!

Good morning!

Our week has been a bit of a mix. Regina texted us over messenger, and dropped us. She mentioned talking to her pastor, last time we talked with her, so we thinkhe antied her. That was pretty sad, but I hope the best for her. Maybe she’ll accept the gospel later.

Other than that, the week was pretty good. We’re teaching a member’s girlfriend tonight, we’re pretty excited about that. I think I understand what you’re saying about asking the Lord for guidance. We missionaries NEED to do that, we just don’t function without the spirit.

Thank you for everything, I hope your week’s great! I love you!

White stuff’s already gone!

Good morning!

Our week’s had some crazy weather! We started with rain Monday, then on Tuesday, we got a big blizzard Tuesday, we had to stay in for part of the day, because of how bad the roads were! The weather hit -6 in the evening, but it’s just kept warming up since, now the snow’s already gone!

We did get a chance to see the first presidency broadcast Tuesday, That was amazing, having the opportunity to hear President Nelson. I loved the prayer they read, from the little kid, that was great!

We got the chance to teach Regina, yesterday! She’s still having a bit of a hard time, with her husband’s passing. We taught the Plan of Salvation, and I think she really liked it. We invited her to Read the Book of Mormon, and she was a bit sheepish about it, I really hope she does read it, though.

Anyhow, It was good to hear from you again! I hope your temple attendance goes well, and I hope you have a good week! I love you!

Utah Weather in Kentucky

(Jan 15, 2018)

Good morning!

Goodness, it’s been cold out here!  We even got some snow, this week, and it stayed!  The socks did make it, and they are greatly appreciated, thank you very much! This week has been pretty weird. Wednesday, we got in out car, to go to district Meeting, and the car wouldn’t start. Turns out, a cell in the battery went bad, and we had to sit in a dealership all day, to get it fixed. A bit of a bummer. But it’s working now!

I didn’t get a chance to watch the funeral live, we were on an exchange, but I was able to watch it later. It’s so awesome to hear that Riley made it to church! I’ll be praying for her, as well! I hope the weather treats you all well, I might have to go make a snow angel, or something! You have a good week, I love you!

Bad news, good news

Good morning! Our week has been a bit mixed. 3 hours before the baptism, Cristian called us, to tell us he didn’t feel ready. That was a bit of a downer. Cristian is a good kid, I think he’s just a bit overwhelmed, at the moment. He’ll come a round. On top of that, he, and Anahi, were going to come church, but they had to run to the hospital! Anahi’s brother’s girlfriend was bit by a brown recluse! Pretty scary. We’re visiting them Tuesday, to talk with Cristian, we’re praying things go well.

We just talked to Regina Saturday, over the phone. She’s not doing too great, so we spent some time talking with her, and said a prayer, with her. She invited us to Brian’s viewing, today, at 11.

Thank you again, for all the love and support, I’ll be praying for Riley! I love you,

2018!

(Jan 1, 2018)

Good morning, and happy new year!  Paris had about 5 fireworks go off last night, it was a bit disappointing. Asides from that, our New Years was pretty good! We stayed in, and played board games, throughout the night.

I messaged Regina this morning, we were talking to her last Saturday, just before he passed. I’ll let you know how she’s doing.

Cristian’s getting baptized, this Saturday! We’re super excited! We were spending most of last week, helping him get prepared, for his baptism. We’re praying for him!

It was so nice to talk with you all last week, you have a great 2018, I love you!
